Our church leaders work together as elders or deacons in guiding our church, and providing leadership for our many ministries

Deacons (ministry of service to others)

The Deacons' ministry is one of compassion, witness, and service, sharing the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed, those burdened by unjust policies or structures, or anyone in distress whether within or beyond our church membership.

All women of our church are members of Presbyterian Women, Inc.--the women’s organization in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) committed to the "PW Purpose":
      • nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study
      • support the mission of the church locally & worldwide
      • work for justice and peace
      • build a caring community of women who witness to God’s promised kingdom

For example, sponsoring a child through "Compassion International" which provides the child with vital spiritual & educational guidance, as well as essential, daily living needs.

Crop Walk

Working to stop hunger, locally and around the world

Rwandan Partnership

We recently committed to a partnership with a church in Rwanda -- the Matyazo Sub-Parish; Rose Marie & Gabriel, founding pastors.  We look forward to building this relationship and enriching each other's lives through our interaction.

Operation Christmas Child

Church members provide gifts of socks, toothbrushes, toys, etc.  Children and adults then pack the gifts into shoe boxes.

The filled shoe boxes are delivered to a nearby collection site and, then, distributed to children around the world!

Leadership During Worship

Worship is led by our pastor and our church members of all ages, such as Readings, Children's Time, announcements, Minute for Mission, musical offerings, and much more.  God has blessed each of us with special talents and gifts which we employ in our corporate worship as well as our service to others.

Session (governing body of our church)

Elected by the congregation.  Provides leadership for strengthening and nurturing the faith & life of our church family.  Monthly meetings, open to all members who may ask questions or offer suggestions.

Clerk of Session: Patti Townsend
